Autorenporträt
Diane Wilbon Parks discovered her spine-tingling love of poetry in the 6th grade and fell completely in love with writing at the age of eleven. Diane has always referenced her unique ability to write as a Godly given gift and believes that she is simply HIS co-Author. After graduating from high school, Diane went to college; then enlisted in the United States Air Force, served a term of four years and received an Honorable Discharge. Diane wrote and self-published her first collection of poems, "RearView Thoughts" in 2000. Diane holds a B.S. Degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland and is a member of two Honor Societies. When Diane is not writing, she loves traveling to Georgia to spend time with her mother. Diane adores her family: sister, brother, nephews nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. She has a genuine affection for children, museums, animals, art, bookstores, libraries, tea shops, and music. Diane resides in Maryland with her favorite collectibles: her husband, two adult children and dog, Cooper.
