Produktbeschreibung
This book was originally intended to be used as a daily devotional; however, it is not a typical devotional book. Rather, it is a book of personal stories and Biblical truths learned over 56 years of marriage and ministry.

In Genesis 28:10-22, there is a story where the children of Israel piled stones and called them 'stones of remembrance.' These were intended as a memorial to the Lord, marking places where God supernaturally intervened in their lives. The stories in this book are Dick and Jeri's 'stones of remembrance,' showing how God led them, provided for them, protected them and intervened in supernatural ways. The stories are shared in the hopes of inspiring and encouraging every reader to believe that God will do the same for them. God is no respecter of persons, for what He has done for one, He will do for others.

Autorenporträt
Dick and Jeri fell in love during high school and eventually married. The next 56 years were filled with wonderful stories of their love for God, their love of family, adventures in the ministry, and amazing stories of God's loving grace in their lives.

In the beginning of their marriage, Dick served as a military policeman in the army, and later as a Houston police officer. Four years after they were married, they both accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, and in less than a year, they answered the call of God to preach the Gospel.

After graduating from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Dick became an ordained minister. Together they pastored churches in Rhode Island, Texas, and, finally, Sharon, Massachusetts, where they served for twenty-six years, with Dick also serving as Presbyter of the Southeast Section of the Southern New England District of the Assemblies of God. After retirement, they continued serving the church as pastors emeritus.
