Starting with Newton's laws, free and constraint motion, relative motion, motion in the field of central force are considered. As a special problem, dynamics of mass variable system is read. In rigid body motion: translation, rotation around a fixed axle and fixed point, in-plane motion, and free motion of the body are presented. Results obtained applying the classical laws of dynamics are proved by using principles of analytic mechanics. Book contains a concise description of the variational principle and its application for solving problems of interest in optimal control, heat and mass transfer, etc. In the book a special attention is directed toward impact theory.
