The present book titled "Job Dissatisfaction in IT industry" is the outcome of the research carried out by the author on the title "Job Climate, Job Stress and Job Alienation as Predictors of Job Dissatisfaction among Employees of IT Industry" for his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. This book predominantly focuses on Job Dissatisfaction of IT employees in terms of the chosen study variables namely, job climate, job stress and job alienation based on certain demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, residence, locality, birth order, educational qualification, experience, designation, working company, and spouse occupation. Four IT companies in Chennai were taken for analyzing Job Dissatisfaction of employees. The results revealed that job dissatisfaction was significantly influenced by job climate, job stress and job alienation of employees in IT industries. Some other interesting facts have been brought out related tothis topic in this book which are of highly useful for the people involved not only in IT industry but also those who are interested to read commonly about the status of IT industries.
