At the present time, surviving without access to the digital information media using various types of devices has become unbelievable. The tremendous progress in evolution of modern computer systems and their interconnections to various networks has amplified the necessity of accessing the information stored on them. Enormous amount of data is being generated in various sectors like social networks, banking, e-commerce, retail chain, supply chain logistics, hospitals and so on. With these data being generated and transmitted across different networks it has made our own data vulnerable to be copied, modified and duplicated. Hence, the need of the hour is to create awareness of the necessity to safeguard data from adverse effects of the attackers. Irrespective of geographic location Internet is emerging as an extensive and massive infrastructure where large amount of data is being disseminated amid individuals, government agencies, financial organisations, academic institutions and businesses of all dimensions. As a result, this has paved way for the acceptance of browsers and World Wide Web technology, allowing users to connect and access data across the globe.
