"Knowledge is as wings to man's life, and a ladder for his ascent..." (www.bahai.org)Higher education in India aspires to become one of the most advanced and sought for systems in the world. In this context all the possible modes that are used across the world are in operation in India. These modes include traditional face-to-face, ODL, Blended and online modes. Nevertheless, ensuring quality in all these modes have always been a challenge. Since the Baha'i Academy's programme of Education in Universal Human Values is also offered in all these modes, it is obvious that it has not been immune from their influences and shortcomings. It was therefore felt necessary to identify and compare the outputs of each mode to understand better the difficulties, advantages and drawbacks of each mode and recommend measures to improve execution and effectiveness of this programme in each mode. Being a comparative study, no treatment was given to the variables, rather the focus was to study the situation as it was and compare them with one another.
