The book is intended for use by postgraduate student in chemistry and it covers synthesis, physico-chemical study and biological activities of pyrazolone based ligand and their M-complexes. Pyrazolone, a well-known heteroaromatic 5 membered ring structures with two N and C=O in the same molecule. The chemistry of pyrazolone began in 1883, E. Fischer and L. Knorr reported. Firstly pyrazolone were discovered as NSAID drugs but in the recent time thiosenicarbazones pyrazolone exhibit biological and pharmacological properties. The stability constants (Kf) of the M-complexes formation were investigated by applying the UV-vis spectrophotometry and conductometric method at different temperatures. Based on the results and thermodynamic calculation, the 1:1 complex stoichiometry as evaluated by these techniques. We firmly belive that this book will be of immense benefit to the student community and that that teaching community will also find it adequate in its contents and style of presentation, suggestions for further improvement of the book would be gratefully accepted.
