The Occupational Health is a specialty health practice that focuses on the health and well- being of the working population. Work is viewed as important to ones life experience, most adults spend about one third of their time at work. Work -when fulfilling, fairly compensated, healthy and safe can help build long and contented lives and strengthen families and community. No work is completely risk-free and all health care professionals should have some basic knowledge about work force populations, work and related hazards, and methods to control hazards and improve health.
