The present work studied the effect of four antioxidants (Ascorbic acid , Gallic acid , Selenium and Nano selenium) at different concentrations on growth and some metabolic activities of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) plant under normal and salinity stress conditions. Selenium nanoparticles with a mean diameter of about 33.4 nm was chemically prepared by fast and inexpensive method using ascorbic acid as a reducing and stabilizing agent.
