Emily Capehart is a professional filmmaker, graphic designer, poet, and paranormal fiction author who uses her work to amplify marginalized voices. She is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. She received her bachelor's degree in film studies from Pepperdine University and her MFA in directing from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. She is married to her loving wife, Hannah, with whom she has ten pets-including dogs, cats, birds, and a bearded dragon. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
