Over the past few decades, it has become clear that Government is not the sole solution giver to the complex and compounded problem of the society. Thus, the rise of the concept of Governance clearly indicated the need for the involvement of other actors in the decision making process to solve the communities common problem. Indigenous institution is one of such actors that can contribute greatly in the process of solving the problem of the society.
