The experiments have deliberately been made to be short so that a student can complete one experiment in about a forty minutes period. It is important that students should first learn the important conventions required in carrying out experiments and of writing the experimental results before they carry out experiments.The guidelines given in this book outlines the important conventions and strategies of carrying out experiments.

Enjiku Ben Dominic Donald has been a long service senior lecturer of Physics and former Head Physics Department at Kyambogo University and now Head of Natural Sciences Department Kampala University. He has been and continues to supervise postgraduate students of Physics. He is now engaged in writing books for schools and undergraduate students.
