The trafficking of women in Ethiopia: A theological reflection and consequences for Ethiopian churches by Ebise D Ayana is written out of the experiences of the life of Ethiopian women that she observed and studied. Commencing from the sociological point of view of humanity and human trafficking and proceeding to the theological reflection on the experiences of these women, Ebise writes in a way which is practical and understandable to churches and anyone who wants to reflect and work on combating of women trafficking. As she writes in her introduction, the intention has been to provide reliable information on the extent and nature of the problem of trafficking in Ethiopian women and to enable churches and church communities to gain insight into this wide Ethiopian problem, relate it to theological reflection, and share it in their church life and neighborhoods. This book is a source of wisdom for women in Ethiopia, teaches and encourages them to be aware of how they are regarded and distressed.
