AUTHOR-Sir Edward-Michael Jagen is a U.S. Army veteran, retired Washington, D.C. Police Intelligence Investigator, and dedicated child abuse protection advocate. He is the author of the Good Knight fairytale series and the Good Knight Crime and Violence Prevention Program, which has been used in the national public school systems as a child protection teaching tool. After official being dubbed, "The Blue Knight of Maryland, by the Governor, he set out on a quest to educate children with the wisdom to protect themselves from those who would manipulate, deceive and/or abduct them. Over the past 30 years Sir Edward and his Angel Knight volunteers have reach millions nationwide. For his many years of public service he has been awarded The National Jefferson 'Gold Medal' Award, the President's Service Award for Public Safety, the Maryland Governor's Award for Volunteerism and received the Silver Star for Bravery after being inducted into the American Police Hall of Fame. Adapted by: Lady Sophia Key West is a devoted mother and grandmother, a twenty-nine-year veteran health care practitioner with a holistic and integrative focus. She is a renowned Reiki Master/teacher/practitioner, Cranio-Sacral therapist, Certified Aromatherapist and wellness coach. A highly sought after lecturer, Sophia is an acclaimed author of the Super Book of Family Safety and Good Knight Child Safety Awareness video productions. As the volunteer COS of the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network Inc., the 501-C3 non-profit organization Jagen established in 1985, Sophia oversees programs, services and the museum's exhibits. She has also received many awards over her twenty-three years of volunteer service to include the Maryland Governor's Volunteer of the Year Award for 2005, the Volvo Hometown Hero Award and the Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award for Public Safety from President Bush. When Jagen passed the mantle to Sophia upon his retirement, he also gave her his memoirs to adapt for publication. She is currently working on a script for a feature film based on the Diary of an Angel-Knight series.
