The author comes from a diverse background having lived in various parts of the country, several foreign countries and traveled extensively with 40 years in Fine Art, 21 years in the Museum industry 15 as Chief Exhibition Designer for a National Museum, and 10 years as Principal of SHD Construction he brings a well informed critical perspective to the subject of construction. He has renovated all of his own homes in the US as well as abroad, and even flipped houses. Having been on all sides of the renovation/building business, from construction labor to client to General Contractor.
