To that end, women's knowledge and practice towards birth preparedness was assessed by considering the recommended elements of birth preparedness and complication readiness, such as identify place of delivery, identify skilled delivery, saved money and identify mode of transport ahead of child birth. The contribution of these variable and other correlations, such as women's age, women's and husband's educational status, occupation, residence, annual income and other obstetric factors like ANC, parity were treated in the study.
