The first part, Social Work in Nursing Facilities, presents key informational topics that social workers may utilize in their day-to-day work, such as assessments, care planning, and documentation. Chapters in this part include case examples to help clarify the information. The second part, The Interdisciplinary Team, contains information about team meetings, room changes, staff training and in-services, and social work consultation. The social worker will find the content in these topic areas supportive and helpful.
