Elita is a proud Texan living in Canada with Ryan, her husband of 15 years, and their four wild but wonderful young kids. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Mobile (Alabama) with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a minor in Worship Leadership. Elita and her family attend Christian Life Assembly in Langley, British Columbia, where she serves as the volunteer director for a weekly women's program, Mornings With Her. She finds it a joy and an honour to regularly teach and serve women at these events. As a teacher and writer, Elita has a deep desire to see women of all ages, and in all stages of life, become biblically literate. Her passion is for women not just to read God's Word, but to love it and live it. Elita believes it is entirely possible to encounter Jesus from your living room couch while flipping through a coffee-stained, tear-filled Bible that has been colored on and scribbled in by toddlers. That's her story and she wouldn't have it any other way. Because she really likes being a wife and mom, Elita is a sometimes writer, sometimes blogger, sometimes Instagrammer.
