Nita is standing in a graveyard. The early morning fog is keeping the sun at bay and a light mist is falling upon her. She is, once again, mourning for a loss. Only two months ago she was standing before this permanent home, made of concrete, for Betty and Micky. Micky and Betty were traveling to their camp in Mississippi. Betty, as usual, was instructing Micky about things he needed to do once they arrived. Suddenly, Micky noticed an 18-wheeler traveling, out of control, West on I-10. The truck crossed the medium, trailer sliding sideways, and the cab heading straight for Micky's jeep. The cab of the truck hit them head on--killing both, Micky and Betty, instantly. Fortunately, Betty was making notes on her phone and didn't know what hit her. As Nita stood there, she thought, 'How could such a thing happen? Only eight months ago, Betty was on a trip with her and Lou.' Nita's mind slowly drifts into the thick fog that surrounds her. She's daydreaming, with a smile on her face, about the two-week trip. They had so much fun and laughed so hard.
