Soon to be college graduate and senator's daughter, Felicia Porter is on her way home for spring break. Thanks to her procrastinating tendencies and need to prove her independence, she takes less than an ideal means of transportation home, the Foxhound bus. On her way, Felicia runs into a rude stranger, who goes only by Ethan, and possesses an absurd amount of audacity and challenges her patience.
Ethan is a man with plans. He has places to be and deals to make. He knows distractions can get him killed. So, he doesn't have time to allow anything or anyone to get in his way, least of all the beautiful young woman who he nearly tramples inside the bus station.
From the moment their two worlds collide, all hell breaks loose, and it is clear they both want nothing to do with the other. Yet, as unforeseen events would have it, they find themselves in each other's arms, and there is no denying the strong pull of attraction between them.
Their steamy encounters leave Felicia questioning whether the feelings are real, or could it be...Deception?
If the fiery pair can somehow find a way to trust the other, they may soon discover bigger enemies are emerging. Enemies which could destroy them both.
