Dr. Erin D. Parrish is an associate professor at East Carolina University where she teaches courses in the global economics of textiles and apparel; green manufacturing; branding of textile and apparel products; and an introductory course on the textile, apparel, and home furnishings industry. Her research has focused on competitive strategies of the US textile and apparel industries and on how economic factors impact textile manufacturing. Dr. Parrish has a PhD in textile technology management, an MS in textiles, and a BS in textile and apparel management, and a BA in international studies, all from North Carolina State University.
