Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is an essential micronutrient and an important cofactor in the one-carbon metabolism. Vitamin B12 has been meticulously studied for decades, and much is known concerning the uptake and actions of this vitamin. Eva Greibe obtained a PhD in Medicine from The Faculty of Health Science at Aarhus University in Denmark in 2013. She currently holds a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark.
