The waste management industry has evolved significantly in recent years. New technology, methods and innovations have been created and applied in this field. The research work deals with creating a user interface for an enhanced waste management system based on online sensors' data of the fill level of waste containers. The main difficulty in the design of a user interface for such waste management systems is the large amount of input data and the complexity of the management processes which are involved. The waste management system handles sensors' data in different types of waste containers, online data about vehicles' route tracking, Web-based service data with information about full containers from the citizens, map-based visualizations as well as software processes for the optimization of route planning and management. Thus, the challenge is to manage this data for the user ("dispatcher") of such a system by creating an easy-to-use and effective user interface.
