In this book, positive psychology is considered as a group/family therapy method to reduce Internet addiction's (IA) destructive effects. Positive psychology increases positive emotions and can enhance social relationships of individual(s). Hence it can be a proper strategy in treating IA. The aim of the current book is to present the efficacy of positive psychology in treating IA. For this purpose, positive psychology for IA is introduced and some studies on positive group therapy and positive family therapy are presented. Here, two types of positive intervention-based treatment sessions are designed and their efficacy is presented. Positive psychology can reduce the measure of severity of Internet use while social adjustment and quality of relationships revealed an increase. This book presents an effective approach for treating IA, specifically in mitigating Internet use and improving the quality of social relationships.
