The protagonist character of this novel, Princess, is a very kind, humble, and generous girl who advocates for peace, love, and unity. By the traditions and culture of their royal family's upbringing, it is Princess's belief that it will take a collective effort to make our world a better place. She grew up in the rural village of Wilberforce Island in Nigeria, where the major population were either traditional farmers or traditional fishermen and women. The only possibility to be successful in life was to acquire educational knowledge to put an end to the cycle of poverty and illiteracy. But this possibility would have been made void if it wasn't for the financial support of her hardworking and industrious mother, who through her trade, trade-by-barter was able to give the gift of educational knowledge to Princess, and her siblings, so that they could be successful in life. And also, be able to help others become successful in their journey of life. Princess enjoyed being in a polygamous family of twelve wives, and twenty-six children filled with love and unity. Later on, Princess decided to leave the village, and go to the city to live with her aunt and uncle, to embrace civilization and have a better life. While growing up in the city, Princess enjoyed motorbike rides as a means of transportation to the market places, canoeing and ferry rides as a means of transportation to school on every school day due to the lack of infrastructure and development. Despite the challenges of life's journey, Princess and her friends had each other's back. They sailed through the raging seas, the storms of life, and were always there for each other, knowing that the bond of their friendship was love, kindness, and unity. They gave, shared, expressed love loudly as, 'Love is sharing.' Today, Princess is happily fulfilling her professional career as a teacher with the Ministry of Education, Canada. Truly, 'Education is the key to success.'
