Ask Yourself: Getting Back to Being Your Brother's Keeper is an appeal to readers regardless of age, race, gender, belief system, or hierarchy within society to be truly responsible for their actions. This book is designed so that the difficult road of self-refinement can be a little easier. It is only after the responsibility of SELF is truly practiced, that we can truly get back to being the keepers of each other and work together in one accord. A sense of peace can once again be a formidable thought within the human consciousness if people...as we move about within our everyday lives... begin to think of not just our acts, but the consequences of our actions and the chain of reactions (be it positive or negative) that flows from and to us.

Autorenporträt
"A positive way of thinking leads to a better way of living and co-existing" Like so many of us, Felicia experienced many ups and downs in life, one being, violently losing her father at the age of 7. Growing up in Chicago was tough, but her mother taught about being humble, admitting to her faults and expressing her true feelings. Paying attention to her karma (how she treated people), being careful of the words she spoke, and being open minded to various nationalities of people, genres of art, music and books, taught her how to manage her ways of thinking in various aspects. Subliminally, she was teaching herself serious self-inspection. Through personal as well as others experiences, she found that her own actions and interactions with people could change an entire situation from negative to positive. She learned that if each one of us can teach ourselves serious self-inspection, a positive chain of reactions based on how we treat each other can form, which would make for a better world. This is something we all want and she would like to be her brother's keeper by sharing some of the things that she learned."
