This book, "Teacher's Certification or Non-Certification on Students' Achievement" came alive as a result of my research work towards my Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) degree. The scholastic research was done with the intention of finding out if the choice of pursuing the terminal degree in Educational Leadership is a better choice over becoming a Certified Teacher with National Board for Professional Teaching Standard (NBPTS). After reading extensively on the topic of Students Achievement and Teacher's Certification or Non-Certification, I could see that there were so many research done on the topic. But to my surprise, there hasn't been much work done with empirical data, to substantiate and show the results of their claim. Hence, I was able to use non experimental quantitative research method to examine the impact of NBPTS certification and non-certification teachers on students' achievement. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores & grade point average (GPA) of students were used as variables. The scholastic research results was a surprise, and an "eye-opener". Once you get a copy of the book, then you'll have an unrestricted access to the informative research findings!
