The research results have manifested that the female leaders are exhibited employing face to face mode in their school communication and promote individualized and collegial work environment, follow win-win conflict resolution approach and focus on magnifying positive work related criticisms, emphasize on building the sense of vision and encourage the teachers to make change. Where as mostly the male leaders focus on using meetings and memos as their way of communication in the school, employ win-loss conflict resolution strategy and emphasize on giving negative work related criticisms, encourage every worker to follow the school managment hierarchy strictly ,take risks in delegating authorities and responsiblities, stand managment stress. More over, the findings have shown that both leadership styles are imperative in the realization of school improvement activities.

Fitsum Gebremichael attended higher education and has obtained Bachelor of Education degree in English from Alemaya Univesity and Masters of Art degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Addis Ababa University .At the current time he is a lecturer of Educational Planning and Management at Hawassa College of Teacher Education
