The various methods used in this study are compared with the same studies carried out by earlier workers elsewhere. This book is going to be useful for the researchers and also students in the fields of Earth sciences.

Dr. Fuzal Ahmed has completed his M.Sc. (Gold Medalist) and Ph.D. degrees from Mizoram University, Aizawl, India. His major fields of interest are Geomorphology, Remote Sensing and GIS. He has published research papers in various scientific journals of repute. He has been awarded U.G.C. Research Fellowship in Sciences for Meritorious Student(RFSMS)
