The purpose of this work is a theoretical and experimental study of the methodology for determining the rigid parameters of saw tools of cotton machines by the calculation and experimental method and the influence on them of the presence of longitudinal forces within the limits of composite tools. In the context of intensification of work processes, the need to take into account more the complexity of the design, especially those characteristic of the development of textile and cotton industry in recent years, the problems of reliability and strength, in particular calculations for strength and rigidity, are brought to the forefront, these problems become especially relevant when operating the main working bodies, usually performing the main technological operations. These include saw tools in various cotton machines, meaning that the composite structures in question work as a whole.
