Jiddu Krishnamurti is a philosopher of great repute who gave importance to universal religious values and personal insight. Krishnamurti was the eighth child of a lower middle class Brahmin couple, Sanjeevama and Narayanaiah. His mother died when Krishnamurti was a child.
