G.S. Nearing is a part-time journalist and full-time world traveler. His journeys have taken him across WLOTUS (What's Left of the United States) to the bullet-riddled, tear-gassed streets of Cairo, and to staring down armed D.P.R.K guards at the Dandong, China - North Korea border. After living, working and exploring one of the world's two best Koreas for fifteen years, he and his better half, Chairman Wife, packed up and shipped out to Northeast China. When he's not out running through alleys and tramping over mountains with the Hash House Harriers, he can usually be found at the nearest watering hole pounding local spirits and plotting his next adventures through time and space.
