Urbanization is now becoming a global phenomenon. The increased pace of urbanization has been posing a challenge to urban environment management. The rapid urbanization has a multiple effect on quality degradation of environment. This problem is more acute particularly in developing countries. Waste generation is an inevitable outcome of the development activities. The main contents of this book are to assess the environmental quality and pollution hazard of the municipal area and to assess the impact of society. This study also estimate the demand for getting better management by using econometric models.
