The paper focuses on the coverage of the relevance of "anti-patriotism" concept from translation perspective. The contemporary translation studies has a strong need in researching the peculiarities of transferring of social and political sentiments in such types of texts that have a pronounced pragmatic and aesthetic character. This research paper presents the verification of the concept "anti-patriotism" in translation studies and the study of adequate ways of transcoding the concepts of "patriotism" and "anti-patriotism" in translations of contemporary poetic texts on military topics.

Kostiantyn O. Hizer is a MA student (Translation Studies) of Kyiv National Linguistic University (Ukraine), a Second Lieutenant in the Ukrainian Armed Forces (in reserve). The approbation of this project was presented at the SCASPEE Congress (Budapest, 2016) and the First World Congress on Translation Studies (Paris, 2017).
