It has the modest goal of building a preliminary frame work for our understanding of hatha-yoga tradition. This book presents the Hindu form of Hatha-yoga by endeavouring to trace its antiquity and elucidating its nature, scope, objectives and benefits derived from its practice besides throwing light on the relation of hatha-yoga with other yoga systems of Indian origin. Dr. K. Ramesh Babu is working as Assistant Professor in Andhra University, India. He has been associated with teaching of Yoga since 1993 in the Dept of Yoga. He obtained Ph.D (Hatha Yoga) ,M.A (Philosophy), P.G.Dip. in Yoga&Sanskrit and Yoga Instructors Course. Presented and published number of papers on Hatha-Yoga. Authored of the book ¿Aasana Sutras".
