Dr Beth Hardy is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the University of York and a Queen's Nurse. Before entering academia, Beth was a District Nurse and her experiences of delivering end of life care in the community have fuelled a fascination in death and dying and in educational approaches to prepare student nurses for end of life care.
