Learning how children care, share, help, give, and cooperate, their prosocial skills, behavior, and values is an academic thesis created to understand the development, cognition, and physical markers associated with prosocial behavior. From this research, the Values Instrument for Prosocial Skills was developed to measure how children behave in prosocial ways. This instrument and the inclusive research will assist educators, researchers, and parents in understanding and measuring prosocial behavior in children in an effort to benefit themselves and others.
