Katherine Talwar (Moore) was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a master's in health science from South College. She met her husband, Sahil, while they were studying to become physician assistants in Knoxville, Tennessee. She currently lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with Sahil and their three children, Alice, Ariyan, and Avi, as well as their cat, Honey Bun. She has always been passionate about writing and enjoys spending time reading books to her children.
