Autorenporträt
Kathy Oman is a Pacific NW native. She loves travel and adventure and the experiences she's gained from the different professions she's held. Kathy's been a word processor, transcriptionist, and computer instructor for a large telecom corporation. From there, she became a web producer for an online game company (as well as a character in the game SWAT). Kathy has held positions as a merchant marine and cruise ship photographer; a legal assistant; a nanny; and a real estate broker. She had one stint modeling as a tomato at a food fair. Her favorite job has been as a photographer shooting diversely - weddings/events, aerial, maritime, real estate/architectural photography and travel. When Kathy volunteered in a school for orphans in Malawi, she brought donated used cameras and taught photography, helping the children create their own published Chichewa/English Alphabet Book. She also has volunteered in Guatemala, helping build a resource center in an abandoned church for the children there. Kathy looks forward to more volunteering, exploration and journeys of the world and beyond.
