Autorenporträt
Kathy Nisivocci loved to read and write stories as a child. As a young adult, she planned to become a writer--although the realization of that dream would come much later in life. Her primary career as a digital marketer kept her in touch with writing, but there was no time or inspiration to devote to a proper story. With the adoption of Harper and Daisy, Kathy found her inspiration. Initially not a dog person, Kathy's husband made sure dogs became part of their lives. Together they have raised three dogs. Their first, Roxi, was with the family for fifteen years. Roxi taught Kathy about loving and living with dogs. With Roxi's passing, Kathy was heartbroken. Adopting Harper helped heal her broken heart. But Harper seemed like she needed a sibling, so Kathy and her husband adopted Daisy. Harper and Daisy both have unique, engaging personalities that inspired this book.
