Katie Gossett is wife to a former firefighter and a mom of four children. She has spent several years in the classroom teaching third grade and preschool. Her favorite thing about teaching is exploring through time, cultures and places with her students by reading children's books. This inspired her to write a children's book of her own. She uses her background of being a firefighter's wife and passion for an adventure to write about Dax The Fire dog. Her hope is to bring joy and sweet memories into your home, classroom, and beyond through her books.
