Katja Aegerter is a passionate accompanying spouse of a Swiss diplomat. She is German by birth, Swiss by marriage and a global professional who has lived in eight countries on three continents. Along the way she changed careers and became a psychologist specialising in globally mobile families and Third Culture Kids. Her work and passion are to support parents of Third Culture Kids, equip parents with the knowledge and a toolbox for their global journey with their children, and raise awareness about the impact of mobility on children and families. She is greatly interested in psychological research that further investigates factors impacting the life, well-being and adaptation of mobile families and children. Currently, she lives with her husband, two children and fluffy dog Lobo in Skopje, North Macedonia.
