Kareem is graduate of Michigan State University, earning both Bacherlor's and Master's degrees in Physiology and a minor is Spanish Language and Culture. His strong faith in God and dedication to ministry led him to be licensed as a Minister in 1998 by the late Bishop Marvin C. Pryor of Victorious Believers Ministries (VBM). During his 25 year tenure at VBM he served in a number of leadership, before being ordained an Elder in 2005. Elder Bowen worked with professional sports athletes as a Sports Entertainment Manager and Marketing Director. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the best players in the league; building brands and establishing players as marketable entities. In 2005 Elder Bowen founded the Man-Up Forum and developed national partnerships with many notable companies and organizations to include Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Sean Johns Executive Collection, Peak Shoes, Nike, and the NBA Entertainment. In 2012 The Man Up Forum was granted a partnership with President Obama's White House Administration. They hosted a five city national tour from LA to DC collaborating with entertainers, athletes, law enforcement, educators, and corporate entities to foster meaningful dialogue between men and boys. In December 2012, Elder Bowen founded The Potter's Touch International Ministries with just 7 members. Since then, God has grown the ministry to over to include: over 200 members with international members in Budapest, Switzerland, Germany; ministry partnerships with churches in Kenya, Uganda, and Pakistan, SVSU Impact Campus Ministry servicing over 400 students, Faith Walkers Bible Academy, and a daily inspirational video blog, "Morning Manna with Pastor K" which has taken on a life of its own reaching over 12 thousand viewers in 8 countries. Pastor Bowen has evolved his personal ministry to include Inspirational Speaker, Life Coach, Author "Reclaiming a Lost Generation", Mentor, Community Activist, Columnist, Playwright, and Songwriter. All Women Love Chocolate is his second book, a book about love and relationships. His life motto is derived from Proverb's 16:3, "Commit your work unto the Lord and your thoughts will be established."
