On the basis of elemental analysis, Infrared spectra, Electronic spectra, Magnetic moment data and Conductivity measurement data the ligand DOSC and DOTSC acts as bidentate manner and Co-ordination takes place through azomethine N and O/S donar atoms of either semicarbazone/thiosemicarbazone moiety. The remaining Co-ordination site are occupied by Cl- , Br-, I-, No3- and Clo4- and the geometry of the complexes are proposed to be Octahedral in nature. The major applications in the field of biological and pharmacological area such as analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous has made the study of Schiff base as visible source of significance for the betterment of human life.

He did his Ph.D in the year 2004. He is working as Assistant Professor from around 10 years in the Department of Chemistry , Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Patna Campus, India. His area of research is synthesis and characterization of Co-ordination Compound, Bio-polymer and water Chemistry.
