KAY PASLEY is Associate Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has authored two books and numerous chapters on stepparenting, and her articles have appeared in journals such as Family Relations, the Journal of Adolescent Research, and the Journal of Marriage and the Family.
MARILYN IHINGER-TALLMAN is Professor and Chair of Sociology at Washington State University, Pullman. She has published two books and numerous articles on remarriage and stepparenting.
