Kayla Cromer is an actress, voiceover artist, disability advocate, and lifelong animal rescuer. She made history as the first person with autism to portray a lead character with autism on American cable television in Freeform's "Everything's Gonna Be Okay". She also voices Nickelodeon's first openly autistic animated character in Monster High. After her role of Charlie on "The Good Doctor, Kayla became the first actor with autism to play an autistic lead character on American prime time television.
