Vibration spectroscopy is one of the most important tools for the accurate determination of molecular structure. In this book, an attempt is made to elucidate the structural and vibrational spectral characteristics of di-substituted benzophenones using both experimental and theoretical methods. This study suggests that there may be some common features in structural and vibrational properties of substituted benzophenones. His investigations have lead to some interesting results for these materials may find applications in non linear optical devices.
