Physical and mental health, social support, and financial stability are factors that can assist an older adult to experience a good old age. There is a need for future research to use ethnography and other tools to remain attentive to the experiences of aging elders. This will assist with the development of policies that can be implemented to ease obstacles to healthy aging.
