Karina considers her family to be most important to her. If she isn't spending time with her friends and family, at the beach with her two dogs, or camping, you can almost always find her reading or writing.Karina has battled breast cancer twice, enduring a lumpectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and a mastectomy by the age of thirty-five.After her daughter Zoie was hit and killed in a school bus accident, Karina began writing Losing Zoie as a form of therapy. This sparked Karina's passion for writing and publishing books.
