Visually impaired students after completing secondary education rarely enter into science stream at Higher Secondary level. In conventional laboratory they find difficulties in performing science practical, eventually they are deprived of practical work. Even if they get into science stream they are almost deprived of practical work. Science practical is heart of science education. This book explains problems faced by visually impaired students in biology practical and suggests how conventional biology lab can be made accessible for the visually impaired by integrating assistive technologies.
